Footwear Theatre is a troupe of fabric footwear formed as a devise for entertainment.  Traditional footwear signifiers such as toe shapes, heel construction and closure assembly were enhanced and exaggerated, transcending each shoe into the realm of caricature. Made for theatrical spectacle, the footwear's presentation was brought to life by sound composer Jaslyn Robertson whose sonic interpretations expanded the performance to a form of theatre.  This collaboration culminated in a live performance at the Kensington Town Hall in Naarm on the 8th of October 2022.
